Enjoying Sex and Intimacy

Proverbs 5:19 "[Let her be as] the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love."

Many people do not enjoy sex and intimacy. They have so many personal issues such as fear, hurt, rejection, that it hinders their sexual enjoyment. That's not part of God's plan. He is not against you having sex, he just wants you to have it on his terms.

In the booklet "Positive Pleasure", it is pointed out that the bible clearly states that when you have sex it should be ravishing. If it is ravishing that means you reel and roll like a drunk. Have you ever seen someone who is drunk? They laugh, stagger and are in state of euphoria. The bible says your sexual experience should be like that. You should enjoy it like a drunk enjoys liquor and feel like laughing, rolling around and excited. You should not leave your sexual encounter feeling used, nasty or like it was a waste of time.

If you experience is anything less than Proverbs 5:19 then you are being cheated. You can have the experience God created you to have. What do you think?
